Summer Book Club

Join us for this summer’s CLIC Book Club! We will read Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law by Mary Roach.

  • Who: All instructors, staff, and students are welcome to join!

Everyone’s schedules fluctuate during the summer, so you don’t need to be able to attend all sessions to participate. Please join us as often as you can!

Reading Schedule:

  • June 7th: A Quick Word of Introduction, Maul Cops, Breaking and Entering and Eating (pp. 1–56)
  • June 21st: The Elephant in the Room, A Spot of Trouble, The Monkey Fix (pp. 57–118)
  • July 12th: Mercurial Cougars, When the Wood Comes Down, The Terror Beans (pp. 119–170)
  • July 26th: Okay Boomer, On the Road Again, To Scare a Thief, The Gulls of St. Peter’s (pp. 171–238)
  • August 9th: The Jesuit and the Rat, Killing With Kindness, The Disappearing Mouse (pp. 239–292)

CLIC staff will order physical books for each participant and will have them ready for pick up at the Jim Dan Hill Library. Please register now so that you have time to pick up your book and can complete our June 7th readings before the first meeting.
