“Lead From Where You Are”

Intended for: Any UWS employee of 2+ years who would like to grow their leadership skills

We are very excited to announce Year 2 of the Homegrown Mentorship Program in which colleagues across divisions at the University participate in small, supportive cohorts and develop 1:1 relationships with a mentor with 10+ years of experience in higher education to deepen their leadership skills and create a project that will make demonstrable change at the university. In the inaugural year of this program, 17 colleagues and six mentors forged new relationships and explored what it means to be a leader in the future of higher education and at UW-Superior. One participant recently told me: “this was a wonderful opportunity to work across campus and get to meet a lot of people I wouldn’t have normally met. I am hopeful to have built some relationships that will last well beyond this year. I also feel that I have learned a tremendous amount from this experience, and I am very grateful for it.”
