Edmund Fitzgerald 50th Anniversary Social
Come together as a community to remember the tragic sinking of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald on Wednesday, November 5th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Jim Dan Hill Library. The "Fitz" was a cargo vessel that sank in Lake Superior during a violent storm 50 years ago, on November 10th, 1975. To honor this local historic event and its long-lasting impact, a group from the Leadership Superior/Douglas County program created an informational poster that will be unveiled at this reception. There will be free live music, snacks, beverages, and an additional shipwreck exhibit on display. All are welcome to attend!
