Un-Book Club

Instructors and all other university staff interested in information literacy are invited to join the Un-Book Club. We are a casual, open discussion group focused on current information literacy issues faced in the age of the internet and 24-hour news. Instead of books, we view short videos or read short articles that can be fit into busy schedules. Feel free to drop in for just one meeting or mark your calendar for every scheduled meeting. We want to hear diverse viewpoints!

Discussion Topic

  • Article: Spohr, Dominic. "Fake News and Ideological Polarization: Filter Bubbles and Selective Exposure on Social Media." Business Information Review, vol. 34, no. 3 (2017): 150-60.
